This unit covers the topic of pronunciation. Pronunciation is a lot more complicated than I initially thought. As a native speaker, I take for granted my pronunciation, but reading into the details of it has really helped me to understand the nuance involved in having correct pronunciation. From the varying meaning of intonation and stressed words, to the mechanical processes of actually creating a lot of English sounds, I can see why many students would consider correct pronunciation to be the most difficult thing about the language.
