Unit 20 focuses on trouble shooting for potential problems that may arise in the classroom.Firstly it is very important to establish a good rapport with students in a new class you are teaching. Getting to know you activities such as pass the ball, questionnaires and surveys and the tell us about game would be very useful. It is also important to have warm-up games each class to help the students ease themselves into their class and feel comfortable. Students will learn at different paces and have differing ability levels so it is important to use lots of activities where they can learn of their peers in pair and groups activities. I love using role plays for reluctant learners and students who have difficulty with confidence and/or expressing themselves.
