This unit is about solutions proposals to some challenges that a teacher may encounter while handling a class. One of those challenges is : establishing rapport between students and also between the teacher and the students.for these purpose the teacher can use activities such as questionnaires / survey, “Tell us about” etc. As for warmers,their importance is high ,they put students in the mood for English. Some of the warmers that can be used by a teacher are: Hangman, Pictionary ,Tongue twisters and memory games. One of the most prominent problem faced by teacher is a group where students are at varying levels. For this , it is suggested that the teacher uses different materials for different levels or uses the same material but give different task to different levels. Some insight into successfully handling large classes are also given.for example it is advised to use worksheets rather than going through activities with the whole class. Also , appointing group leaders can be used to make classroom management easier.
