This unit I have learnt the different parts of introducing new language and what to consider when introducing them. With vocabulary, for example, you have to think about how the vocabulary relates to the student's reality at the moment. What English words he or she already knows and what is useful to him or her now. Moreover, we as teachers we need to make sure we cover everything of the new language when teaching it; from meaning to pronunciation to use. All of these aspects are essential to having a sound understanding of the new language.
