This lesson helps you understand how to manage and organize a classroom effectively. As a teacher, you don't need to be an extrovert to manage a class, you just need to inspire the confidence in students. We should know when to be assertive and when to leave the students space. Depending on the class, the teacher should be flexible in activity or situation without being too dominant or too neglected. It starts from the teacher's voice, gestures and eye contact to grouping students according to size and furniture. Each kind of grouping has it pros and cons. The balance between teacher talk time and student talk time depends on the type of lessons/activity, and level of students. Teacher talk time shouldn't be either too much or too little, because it has some advantages and disadvantages. Giving instructions and establishing rapport between teacher and students are also important, as well as maintaining disciplines.
