Unit 12 is all about teaching productive skills. Speaking and writing are skills that we use to communicate. These skills must be taught equally in class because communication it not only speaking.
Teachers must teach how to produce the correct language before production stage. It will help students to understand the usage. And they will try to be creative with the language that they learn. We must also remember there are factors why students are reluctant in speaking. So teachers make a comfortable environment where students enjoy communicating with their teacher and classmates.
We must not neglect writing skill as well even though it hasn't much concentration. Teachers must encourage and help students in order them to improve. We must take note that every country writing system from English, for example, layout and punctuations.
