With this exercise I was able to clearly visualize a positive and negative classroom setting. It was helpful to be able to see how the teacher's actions effectively 'snow-balled' throughout the lesson. With the teacher's actions in the first video, he consistently pushed the students further away from a comfortable place of learning. This taught me that it is important to fully know how to identify your own missteps if they are ever to occur. In this way, one is able to correct themselves by positively switching their approach to their lesson. Through this, one might not further alienate the students and be able to proactively continue on with the lesson. Therefore, it is just as important to have an eye for mistakes as it is to know the correct things to do.
