In unit 9 I learned the importance of lesson planning. There is a fine line between writing too much or not enough in a lesson plan. It is important to leave room for flexibility in each lesson. It is also important to take into account learning targets and how to achieve them and which activities to include. I also learned that lesson plans are important to write for three major reasons: one they create a logical sequence for a lesson, two makes a flexible working document, and finally to have a record for what has taught.
