In unit 10 I learned the importance of planning, rapport, and having a positive attitude in the classroom. I was able to watch two videos and determine what allows teachers to be successful and not successful when teaching English as a second language. I saw first hand how importance it is to be confident in the material being taught and being prepared for possible student mistakes. I also learned that being positive is important if teachers want student participation.
