This unit is very interesting because helped me how to help my students to better pronunciate the words in english. I also learned the different issues with the IPA: With the IPA we can teach our students the individual sounds, and explaining that they are universal sounds, and are pronounced identically whatever style of english the speaker uses. Here in this unit we also learn the different manners of articulate the words: Plosives, affricates, fricatives,nasal, lateral and approximants. Is also mentioned where is the place of articulation in the face: bilabial, labio-dental etc.
