This unit taught me about conditionals and reported speech and how to go about teaching them. Conditionals are sentences containing if or when which refer to past, present and future possibilities. There are 5 main conditionals and they include, zero, first, second, third and mixed.
There is a general guide for turning direct speech into reported speech. For example if the present simple tense is used in direct speech it is changed to past simple in reported speech. However there are always exceptions to most rules.
