This unit touched on how to prepare an effective lesson plan that includes an objective, teacher’s aim, procedures, materials needed, timing, and even unexpected problems that may arise with the students or teacher. The objective is very important; it serves as a way to know what the teacher wants the students to learn or take away from the lesson once it is completed. The teacher should also note his or her end of the lesson by deciding what he or she needs to improve on as far as teaching. Preparation is key in order for a smooth lesson to take place. Keeping the ESA framework is helpful and necessary for the flow of the lesson.
