Unit 13 is about pronunciation and phonology. I learned that teachers should set time to teach phonetics to students. Phonetics will help students how to pronounce words correctly and to give more confidence in communication. I learned also stress, rhythm and intonation are factors to convey our messages accurately. Also, it helps students to speak as similar as native English speakers do.
This unit explained the organs involve in Articulation. Each organ can make different sounds from the other organs. There are activities when teaching articulation. Among those activities, is Tongue twister which is fun to students.
