This unit was about troubleshooting common problems and situations. Some of the situations this lesson went over was the first lesson, warmer activities, different levels, large classes, use of native language, reluctant students and difficulties with listening texts. One of the most important things this unit informs us about is establishing rapport, finding out about the students, finding out about students' needs, and finding out the english language level. Some ideas of typical warmer activities consist of hangman, pictionary, tongue twisters and memory games. When teaching students of different levels, it is important to use different materials, same materials with different tasks and pair stronger students with weaker students. When working with larger groups it is a good idea to use worksheets, pair/ group work, be clear, choral repetition, appoint group leaders, and consider the dynamics of the class.
