It particularly states and explains the parts of speech in the English language. Those discussed in this unit include nouns , verbs , adjectives and gerund.Different types of these parts of speech are also shown for example proper and common nouns where proper nouns are the specific names of people , countries and maybe rivers while common is the general terms like teacher , chair and an apple. The major difference between the two is that proper nouns are always in capital;l letters while common nouns don't bear capital letters.
I have learnt that verbs can either be transitive or intransitive depending on how they are used. Also when an intransitive verb is followed by an infinitive it shows the consequences of a particular action
