Unit 16 is on reported speech and conditionals . Conditionals refer to sentences that contain "if or while" ,. There are two clauses covered in the unit , the if and main clause and either of the clauses can either come first in a conditional sentence.
The 5 main conditionals shown in the unit are , zero . first , second , third and mixed conditionals. They all take unique forms and have different usages. I have learnt on the techniques of teaching conditionals , they include splitting the sentences or completing the conditionals and many more.
Speech part covers the direct or indirect speech. Direct is where the main speaker reports while indirect is where a second person speaks on behalf or reports what the main speaker said.
