The unit covers past tenses. These past tenses include past simple , past perfect and past continuous. Each of these tenses have a unique structure and have several usages.For example the past simple form has the verbs added {ed or d} to their base forms. The past simple is used to show past actions when the time is given and in question form is when time is asked about.
On the other hand the past continuous takes the subject , was or were and the verb ing , it can be used to show interrupted actions or to how descriptions.
