There are various teaching methods to use in the classroom to aid student’s success. Various teaching equipment is incorporated in the classroom such as interactive boards, visual aids, worksheets, different recording devices, dictionaries, course books, and computers. The type of lesson that is being taught will determine what type of equipment the teacher will use. Each piece of equipment will be useful for different types of learners. For example, an auditory learner would excel when being taught with a recording device or computer. A kinesthetic learner may receive the lesson better completing some type of computer program, such as an interactive game. A visual learner may respond better to the teacher using a visual aid because they are used to illustrate meaning more effectively than through a verbal lesson. And finally, a reading/writing learner may benefit from using worksheets.
