In unit 4, I studied one of the tense which is the Present tense. Present tense has several usages and can overlap from one tense to another. It has different forms- present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. First, we use Present simple for routine, facts, present stories and directions. For example, I eat fruits every day. Second, we use Present continuous for progress, temporary action and developing action. For example, It's getting cold. Third, we use Present perfect for general experience without specific details. For example, I have been to America. And fourth, we Present perfect continuous for ongoing activity and how long the action has continued. For example, I've been working in this company for 8 years.
