This unit has taught me the different modals and how they can be used to express different ideas. The ideas they can be used to express are obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and advice. The two different voices that are used are passive and active. The three different types of clauses are independent, dependent, and relative. The three basic types of phrasal verbs are intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable. The teacher should keep a record of the verbs that have been taught and try to use them in conversation in the classroom.
