The first video shows a class that is somehow bored and not willing to ask questions or even lack the desire o study. This can be attributed to the teachers attitude that lacks liveliness and interesting approaches.He dwells on the students whom he knows their names. At the beginning of the lesson he fails to create the required rapport hence lack of motivation for the students. The students are confused and seems not to comprehend some of the contents.
In the second video a good rapport is created by the teacher through introducing himself and asking the students to remove flips bearing their names. He is lively and seems o have a good knowledge of the subject.the students have the desire to learn and even to ask questions.
I have learnt that the teachers attitude matters a lot in determining whether the class will be lively or not and whether full participatory of the students will be experienced.
