This unite covered the grass roots of what it means to be an English teacher and a teacher in general. During this unite I learned the different types of Langauge Abreviations such as TEFL ESL etc. and the different types of characteristics that teachers and learners have and sometimes have in common. When it comes to being a teacher, simply just having great knowledge of a subject, though very important is often not enough to encourage the students to expose their inner potential. Being interesting, interactive and attentive are only a few characteristics it takes to build a good teacher-student relationship. The difficulty of the teaching requirements depends heavily on the language level and age of the student you have to work with, and finding their strengths to celebrate and weakness to helpfully improve are hallmarks of a successful teacher. A large part of the time, a students ability to want feedback, have a desire to learn and have a willingness to ask questions correlates heavily to how your relationship as a teacher is. It is of great worth to help your students individually and as a group to achieve whatever goals they are aspiring to meet, whether it’s just for langauge interest or looking to give a business presentation.
