The unite discusses the management of a class through the usage of names, gestures, voice and eye contact. Next, the unit talks about how to pair and group students together. It describes the pros and cons of specific pairings and groupings. Next, it discusses how seating arrangements increase student-to-student interaction and decreases “teacher talk time”. Finally, it talks about the relationships between students and teachers and the importance of building rapport with students. I believe that “teacher talk time” is one of the more difficult aspects of teaching.
