In this unit we studied about planning lessons for the class. Planning lesson helps teachers to stick to what they have to teach in the class. Preparing lesson plans is an aid to planning, it is a working document, it is a record to keep a track about what we have thought in the class. A lesson plan should be written down as simple as possible, make a structure and maintain it , keep it flexible according to the class. Before a teacher starts a lesson they must check that they have a lesson plan, check the lesson equipment works, arrange the seat accordingly. What to include in the lesson plan is up to the individual. Certain points should be included in lesson plans . Like learners objectives, personal aims, teaching aids,procedures, phase, class level, number of students, time duration etc. after finishing the lesson one must evaluate his /her teaching performance. Check the modifications required in lesson procedures etc. we learned about how to plan lessons for teaching.
