This lesson described the different types of teaching roles, the characteristics of a good teacher, the characteristics of a good learner, the difference in learner age groups, the different levels of learning, and finally some possible motivations for the learners. This lesson was helpful in my opinion because it discussed the strengths and weaknesses of different teaching roles and how they might be utilized successfully. I also believe that knowing the difference in experience and motivation between different age groups is important to ensure that each learner is receiving the best education. Learning what motivates the students could also assist the teacher with creating inspiring lesson plans to keep the learners engaged and motivated.
