This Unit is focused on the interaction of teachers and learners throughout the lessons; outlines teacher’s characteristics and roles in the class, as well as covers the good learner’s qualities and learning abilities; details different categories of students’ age and the influence of various factors on students’ learning experience. It also describes language proficiency levels and knowledge achievements at each stage of the level.
From this Unit I have learned the mission of each separate role and the teacher’s responsibility and attitude when performing them. It is extremely important to have a wise and accurate approach and be careful with every action/step throughout the lesson, so that the teacher does not ruin the process of students’ work, motivation and learning effectiveness.
A comparison section between adults and young learners and their behavioral conditions was very informative and I have discovered various motivating factors, age influence issues, and other aspects involved in into a learning experience of students of different ages.
