This unit covered the two "Productive Skills", speaking and writing. This unit covered both skills in detail as well as provided strategies for developing these skills in the classroom. This unit also covered the potential areas of struggle that might present difficulty with learners as well as techniques for encouraging learners to participate. This unit also discussed the difference between accuracy and fluency and explained that certain types of activities are more geared towards one or the other i.e.(controlled and guided activities for developing accuracy, creative activities for developing fluency). Finally this unit provided sample lessons and potential games and activities for developing these skills in a classroom setting.
