This unit is about lesson planning and it‘s functions?The important functions of planning a lesson are the following?1?aid to planning ? what do you want students to achieve by the end of your class?? 2?document ?gives you something to refer to during class etc??3?a record ?so you can remember what class has done etc??;
I aslo learned about basic principles of lesson panning, such as keep it simple,structure it, do not try to script your lesson, think about anticipated time for each of your lesson activities, keep it flexible etc.
If you want your lesson to be smooth and troubleless you should make sure you have your lesson plan and all aids and materials needed, arrange seating, make sure the board is in proper condition etc.
I read what should be included in a lesson plan:learner objectives, personal aims, teaching aids,language point,procedure, phase,timing,class level,number of students etc.
