This unit includes teaching theories, methods, and techniques. The approach used moving forward is ESA, Engage, Study, Activate. This approach includes enough variety to meet the diverse needs of students. For example, music listening can be used in the engage stage and can be modified to meet the age group as well as their level of English proficiency. The study stage offered diversity so that students will not become disinterested with the repetition of drills. And lastly the activate stage can include surveys for beginner or intermediate students or debate for more advanced students.
