In this unit I have learnt about the relationship between learners and teachers is very important and a sensitive one. A good teacher is the one who is patient, entertaining, motivating, able to correct students mistakes, and who cares about learning of students as well as his/her teaching. I have also learnt about different age groups of learners from young learners to adults. How young learners are different from adult learners, and how different cultures and native languages of the learners have impact on their English learning process. This unit also explained the importance and roles of a good teacher. This unit also explained various language levels, viz Beginers, elementary, pre-intermediate , intermediate, upper intermediate , and advanced. To become a good teacher , one must understand the level of student and accordingly use different methods of teaching. I have learned that to become a good teacher I need to be a good motivator , motivation is the key to develop interest in learners for learning new language. Lastly I would conclude saying, A good teacher will always have a successful and a good learner.
