In the previous unit, i have learnt that listening and reading are called receptive skills. then in this unit, i come across other two skills, speaking and writing which called the productive skills. they both have the same purpose which is to communicate.writing is more difficult than speaking because it requires a greater degree of accuracy when speaking requires a greater degree of fluency. accuracy and fluency are equal important,as accuracy activities are concentrated on producing correct language while fluency activities are concentrated on the students to experiment and be creative with language.
