After learning this unit, i have learnt that when teachers teach the phonology of English, we need to cover three important areas which are called STRESS, RHYTHM, and INTONATION. on the other hand, we also need to concentrate on the IPA and it's use in helping students to come to an understanding of the pronunciation of English. i have developed some skills of teaching pronunciation in order to make my lessons fun.the fist is to use a mouth diagram to describe the physical location of a phoneme's production. then use my own mouth, let students to see as clearly as possible exactly what my mouth is doing.after that is drilling the sound by using an interesting tongue twister.
