I never realized how complicated the future tense in English was and I can only imagine how hard it can be for students who are learning the language as a second language. I did not have too much issue learning the different categories after spending time learning the present and past tenses. I again took note on the lesson suggestion for teaching the different tenses, I have to say I laughed when I read the game titled, "Avoiding a date from hell" and thought there were other quality lessons that could be taught. I do believe that trying to teach the future continuous and the present continuous could be difficult for students to grasp, and I made a note to do more research trying to understand the best way to explain this concept to students in the future. The lesson I took from this unit, is that I am going to need be very clear when to use each form and why we use each form in English. I appreciated the breakdown of when to use each tense, as those are fairly clear for a native English speaker about when to use each tense.
