This lesson focused primarily on the proper methods for developing and teaching productive skills, reading and writing, to non-native English speakers. These are arguably the harder skills to teach as they require a firm grasp of vocabulary, grammatical structures, and the receptive skills we discussed in the previous unit in order to for the student to have a foundation to build from. However, there also seems to be a greater potentiality for fun as it is easier to incorporate games that can elicit creative responses with the productive skills than the receptive skills.
