Throughout my entire academic career, I had trouble understanding what the passive voice was. I couldn't control my use of it properly. This caused me a lot of strife. However, thanks to this unit I finally understand how to identify and use the passive voice along with a more clear understanding of how to properly use modal verbs. Lastly, I felt that question 8 was slightly unclear. In the text, the variation of degree for the politeness of "would" and "could" wasn't clearly differentiated enough to confidently answer the question.
