After watching both videos I have learnt how the teacher's attitude can influence the atmosphere in the classroom. The teacher with positive attitude and smile have succeed in the second lesson, while the first lesson was not efficient mainly because the teacher did not build a good rapport with the students.
In the first video, the teacher made several mistakes that made the lesson less effective than the second one. He did not adjust the level of engage activity to the students' level, and gave little or no explanation of the activities in all phases of the lesson leaving students confused. In the pronunciation drills he should have picked individual students for a drill, after the group drill, to control individual student's pronunciation. The first lesson was finished with the teacher rushing out of the classroom instead of saying proper 'goodbye' which added up to the confusion among the students.
