I really enjoyed watching two different lessons on video. It was nice to get to compare the two. The second lesson was much more organized and successful. It was a better lesson plan, as well as being presented in a better way. I think it's very important to be prepared and to have a clear lesson, but I think it's even more important to have a positive attitude and to be engaged. I think this because as long as the teacher creates a welcoming and friendly environment, the students will be more likely to want to be there, resulting in learning more from the lesson. A few things I noticed right away was that in the second lesson, the teacher introduced himself and asked each student their names. This is a very simple act, but very important as it created a friendly vibe right away.
