This unit discusses teaching new language represented in vocabulary, grammar, and functions. It is focused on applying the ESA method to introduce new language. One important point I have learned is that teaching vocabulary and grammar is not limited only to Straight Arrow ESA approach, but also Boomerang ESA or Patchwork ESA can be used to address them. I have to decide which approach is most appropriate and use it. The unit also presents very useful and precise criteria of how to select the most suitable materials for my students.
