I had an easier time with future tenses. After going through present tense units, future tense was really a review in some ways. The hardest part was distinguishing between the futur simple tense and the be +going to tense. They both are used in predictions but you have to determine if there is evidence or not. I love the idea of Palm reading as an activity for the future tense. I think the hardest part had been remembering the vast amount of usages for each tense. For example, future simple is used for predictions with no evidence, promises, future facts, threats, etc.
