This Unit was about teaching recetive skills: listening reading. It is important to adapt our materials to the English level of the students (pre-teaching some structures or vocabulary), but still make it a challenge for them (using authentic or/and non-authentic material). To make it even more effective, the teacher should also use topics that vary and include all the interests the class may have, and not the teacher's own intérêts as it may differ from the students'. Sometimes a topic that does not trigger an interest at first can be triggered with an interesting engage activity that can motivate the students. Reading and listening have to be incorporated in a balanced approach as well as productive skills (speaking and writing).
