From this unit, I've learned that lesson planning plays an important role in the "flow" of the class. Teachers must prepare all the activities that he or she wishes to carry out. They must have certain objective that want to meet by the end of the lesson. Goals must be set for both students and teachers. At the end of the lesson, the students must gain what the teachers have planned out and the teachers must have achieved what he or she set of to teach. It is important to keep in mind certain ideas such as: class size, phase, timing and language point etc. They all play a specific role in helping teachers maintained a smooth lesson plan. The ESA procedure is crucial when writing a lesson plan because it will help teachers map out exactly how they want the lesson to go. Teachers must also be flexible to adjust and change course of action whenever they need to. If students are enjoying certain activities then teachers should consider extending that activity to allow students to be more engage in the activity. If certain lesson is effective then teachers have to record and consider it for future classes.
