Engagement sets the stage for students interest in the lesson,while Activate involve students putting into practice what they have gained from their earlier engagement in the lesson.
Study, test students performance and give feed back on what they have learnt from their engagement and activating part of the learning process.
This unit 3 has taught me that no one theory, method or technique can fully meet the needs of the different learners, but by using a combination of theories, methods and techniques.Even within a technique such as ESA, a teacher can vary the sequence within that method. The important guidelines should be: what work well for that group of students learning needs, what makes their performance improve and respect their culture and belief.
