This unit focused on classroom management, namely how the teacher manages the physical, academic and social environment of the classroom that makes it more conducive for learning. It mainly gives insight on how the teacher can use grouping, arrangement of seats, using teacher talk time, giving instructions, giving individual attention, writing on the board, using visual aids, using gestures, eye contact and the teacher's voice to call the student's attention and participate in the learning activities. Also, this unit shows how these can be used effectively in maintaining discipline in the class and building rapport so that the students will learn more and do more. As the teacher is the classroom manager and managing the class determines the effectiveness of learning, knowing how to manage the class correctly is highly important for progress in the class among the students.
