Classroom management is vital in any learning situation or program; even when it is an online virtual classroom. I like that this module because it shows that classroom management is not just about disciplining students. It is more about providing an environment conducive to maximizing the learning experience. Classroom management addresses the whole student. Classroom management takes into consideration student emotions or countenance. This is whether or not they are shy/outspoken, or fearful/courageous. It considers student's prior knowledge in that teachers have to establish what students interest levels are and if they are even motivated. It also considers students' desires and expectations. The student wants to know that they are in a safe place and will not be judged. They want to know that the teacher is interested in teaching them. All students expect to learn.
