Tenses means time; whether it be the past, present or future. These tenses are further subdivided into other categories such as: simple continuous, perfect and perfect continuous.
This unit has taught me that a teacher should know the various kinds of tenses to use in his or her lesson planning and how to equipped the students when to use these twelve(12) different tenses.
In order for students to practice the various tenses, they should be given activities in the activate stage using graphs, pictures of actions which is an idea for information-gap, miming and pictionary.
When students practice using the tenses everyday, it helps them to have a better understanding of the English language.
