I have never realized the need to understand the different present tenses. This module has brought to light how important they are to convey the correct meaning. I speak English, conjugate verbs, and use tenses everyday. I have never given thought as to why I used certain conjugations and tenses. Taking this class makes me realize that it actually changes the very meaning and definition of certain words and phrases. It is a very intricate part of speaking English.
