The future tense is the most complicated of all the tenses, with the present tense also being used for a future purpose. There are 7 common future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, present simple and present continuous. The be going + infinitive and present continuous are the most common tenses. Furthermore, shall and will have a difference with shall being used for suggestions and invitations (with it being more formal with affirmative sentences) and will is used to express stronger intention and determination than shall. This unit felt much easier than other units, as the pattern with the perfect and continuous tenses being clearer and easier to identify now. Once this basic pattern is established, transferring it between past, present and future is much simpler.
