This unit furthers the study of the tenses system as it takes a detailed study of the rather complex future tenses. It studies the seven different future tenses in future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, future perfect, future perfect continuous, present simple, present continuous. This unit analyses these tenses with respect to the forms (affirmative, negative, question and contraction) when being used, and also analyses the situations most suitable for the use of the different tenses. It as well analyses the most likely mistakes students make when using the tenses as well as suggestion of ideas to use in teaching them so that the learners can best comprehend, understand and thus use the tenses.
