This unit ties together some of the previous grammar lessons we discussed. All tenses are used in modal verbs, so it shows how grammar points build off each other. Teachers must have easy explanations and examples on hand for grammar, which this entire course has shown. With this unit, we discuss how information is presented and prioritized. Language learners may know the basics of sentence structure, but now have the ability to arrange information however they want. These grammar points are for more advanced students, but this is certainly where role playing is important. They can speak with each other, craft their own sentences, and begin to think in English comprehensively. I enjoyed this chapter since it was a good refresher for me. The simple explanations reinforced the point, and I (and certainly my students) will appreciate the digestible format in this course.
