In this unit I learned about speaking and writing in the English language and why they are so important as productive skills. I also learned about why some students ay struggle with speaking and writing, for example, a student who speaks Arabic as their native language may struggle with writing because their native language uses a completely different alphabet from English. I also learned about some effective activities to help students learn and be comfortable with speaking and writing in English.
